Connecting our Community

Some of our favorite events that take place in the Utica area are geared at educating the youth in our area. One of the events we sponsor and donate to each year is the New Hartford Fire Department Fire Truck Spectacular every year. All local Fire Departments are invited to come with their best trucks. It's a great way for all local towns and cities to participate, get to know each other, and for local residents to learn about fire safety!

Teacher, Nurse, and Educators of the Week: Through our local stations, WUTR tv and Lite 98.7 radio, we proudly sponsor the teacher, nurse and educators of the week, honoring these essential and dedicated individuals in our area!

Local Youth Sports Sponsors: Steet Ponte Nissan proudly sponsors many local youth school sports, including Whitestown Baseball and Football, New Hartford Tee Ball, Utica Comets Hockey, Utica Blue Sox Collegiate Baseball, CNY Savage and Burton Basketball organizations and tournaments!

Munson Museum's Antique Car & Motorcycle Show: held at the end of the week long Summer Arts Festival. The Arts Festival and the Car Show are both free events that welcome anyone of all ages to enjoy the local art from artists in many of the MWPAI art programs. The Car Show has been going on for over 30 years now, and draws hundreds of people to the historic grounds of the museum and Fountain Elms.

New Hartford Memorial Day Parade & New Hartford Farmer's Market

The New Hartford Memorial Day Parade & Farmer's Market is so much fun for everyone involved! We love participating in the parades every year. It's a great way for all of us to get into the community, show off our vehicles, and end at the New Hartford Fire Department for refreshments and tours afterwards during the Memorial Day Parade. Memorial Day is also the kick off to the New Hartford Farmer's Market, which we proudly are the Entertainment sponsors, bringing local acts to the weekly farmer' market held in the Village Green in New Hartford, NY!

Boilermaker Road Race Pace Cars

For the 3rd year in a row, we are the official Pace Car sponsors for the annual Boilermaker Road Race held right here in Utica, NY!

Utica Zoo

Our Auto Group is proud to support our area's local Zoo! Our sponsorship goes towards educational events that the Zoo holds, as well as their signature events like the family friendly Halloween Spooktacular! Additionally, the Auto Group donated a truck to the zoo for their transportation needs.

Giving Back During the Holidays

From September-December, we hold our annual Holiday Giving efforts to give back during each month. September is dedicated to backpacks and school supplies, going to Utica, Rome, CVA and Herkimer Elementary schools. October is our annual Coats for Kids Coat drive, where we collect new winter coats, as well as snow pants, boots, hats and gloves for children in the above mentioned school districts. Our Thanksgiving Food Drive collects non perishable items to local food pantries including The Rescue Mission, Feed Our Vets, The Hope House, The Thea Bowman House, Johnson Park Center, and the Utica Food Pantry to name a few!

And finally, to end the season on a great note, we have our December Gift Drive. Our Christmas trees in each showroom contain a tag with a gift wish from a local family in need. Participants are encouraged to take a tag and return the unwrapped gift back to our tree. At the end of the drive, we deliver the gifts to the organizations we adopted families from. In years past, we have worked with The House of the Good Shepherd, ICAN, and The Neighborhood Center.
